Due to Chinese regulations we often have to resort to locally manufactured goods for our orders, but as as traditional Swabian company we want to assure that these also meet our German standards. Therefore we have been using the services of Cisema’s quality assurance teams since approximately one year ago for the purchase of this “local content“ and we have been very satisfied with the service. The good positioning of the locations in Hangzhou, Shenzen and Beijing as well as the high quality of the teams in these locations makes it possible for us to obtain the best suppliers, for example for chip conveyors, enclosures and mounting plates. Due to the ongoing monitoring provided by Cisema we can be confident to be able to enjoy only the highest reliability of our purchasing channels when accepting orders including „local content’ in „The Middle Kingdom“ on a long-term basis.

Frequently asked questions

What do the service costs include?

In order to meet the different needs of customers in the context of a cost-conscious performance model, Cisema’s customers have the option between three service levels. The higher the service level, the more favourable is the actual daily rate. Additionally, we also offer flexible solutions, as for example a daily rate.
Additional costs, such as travel expenses, will be borne by the customer. However, these will be minimal due to the low price level in China.
Our services include the complete range of high-level sourcing and quality assurance services, starting with simple control tasks and continuing with supplier identification, in-process control, audits and supplier development.

Where is Cisema located, how many employees are working in China and how does the choice of location influence the service quality of Cisema?

We have five locations in the major regions of China with a growing number of currently seventy employees. Through the strategic positioning in Hangzhou, Beijing, Shenzhen, Qingdao and Hong Kong, we can easily reach potential suppliers in the industry centers in the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and the Bohai Bay. Our strongest location is based in Hangzhou.

Due to the strategic placement of our branches, we can exercise control over your vendors / products thanks to short distances and also get any obstacles out of the way quickly. We invite you to visit us in China to see our offices and take take a look at our professional teams and equipment.

Does Cisema work with other companies in order to deliver services, such as testing labs?

Cisema’s employees have a variety of test equipment required for most of the upcoming quality tests. Furthermore, there is a Cisema test lab for specially required tests.
In some special cases, we cooperate with accredited test labs.

What is your staff structure and how qualified are your staff members in China?

Our team in China consists of 100% Chinese employees. We set high standards for the qualification of our employees. Our usually quite young staff members have a good command of English, have university degrees and are principally permanently employed.
Some Chinese employees at management level have been working in the technical departments of international companies for many decades.
In general, our staff members are technically skilled due to their academic backgrounds and work experience.
Unlike many other Chinese and also international companies in our market niche we have managed to achieve an extremely low staff turnover by offering a pleasant corporate culture, attractive compensation and performance-enhancing career planning, which is reflected in a noticeably better customer service and also long-term personal relationships to the suppliers. These are advantages which we pass on to our customers.
