China health food raw material technical requirements – Draft documents issued in July 2023

China health food raw material technical requirements have draft documents issued by the China State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) on July 5, 2023:

Following the catalogue updates for health food raw materials in June 2023 (read our separate blog post on this topic), the SAMR has taken a further significant step in this direction by drafting relevant product dosage forms, technical requirements, and interpretation documents for health food raw materials.   • Online submission: Feedback can be provided through the “Solicitation Survey” section on the homepage’s “Interactive” section of the SAMR website (http://www.samr.gov.cn).
  • Email submission: Opinions and suggestions can be sent via email to bjspba@cfe-samr.org.cn. The subject of the email should be clearly marked with the words “Public solicitation of opinions on three documents, including the Dosage Form and Technical Requirements for Health Food Raw Material of Filing Products – Soybean Protein Isolate & Whey protein (Draft for Comments).”
  • Mail submission: Comments and suggestions can be mailed to the Special Food Department of the SAMR at No. 1, Beiluyuan, Xicheng District, Beijing. The envelope should indicate the words “Public solicitation of opinions on three documents, including the Dosage Form and Technical Requirements for Health Food Raw Material of Filing Products – Soybean Protein Isolate & Whey protein (Draft for Comments).”
