Cisema, the regulatory affairs consultancy and CRO for China, announces today that Hamish King shall take over as the new Chief Executive Officer effective immediately. Hamish has worked for Cisema as Director Business Development & Sales, and more recently as Chief Operating Officer over the previous 3 years. He brings with him over 10 years’ experience in the legal and regulatory fields, having begun his career as a lawyer in Sydney before moving to Hong Kong in 2015 and joining UK Magic Circle firm Linklaters, where he was promoted through to Managing Associate. Hamish has obtained the RAC (Regulatory Affairs Certification) from RAPS and is a CFA Charterholder. He is admitted as a lawyer in NSW, Australia and Hong Kong.
Stefan Fischer, the founder of Cisema over 20 years ago, will continue with the company managing and growing his German-speaking and other customers as Head of Sales for D-A-CH region, and as Managing Director of Cisema’s Sourcing & Quality Control business.

I will continue to support Hamish and the company, and intend to continue working with Cisema, a company that I founded over 20 years ago, for at least the next 5 years focusing on German-speaking countries.”

Hamish will continue to be based in Hong Kong with his family.
